Over the last several years, Prime Video has steadily grown into one of the biggest streaming platforms in the world. While its subscriber totals still trail behind Netflix, the service has produced some of the most successful original TV series of the streaming era, including Reacher (starring Alan Ritchson) and Bosch (starring Titus Welliver). The latter debuted on the platform in 2014 and ran for seven seasons before concluding in 2021. However, Prime Video revived the franchise just a year later with the sequel series Bosch: Legacy, bringing Welliver back, and the appetite for more Bosch stories remains stronger than ever. The first season of another spin-off, Ballard, has already finished production ahead of its upcoming second season, and Prime Video is also working on a new Bosch prequel starring Cameron Monaghan as the iconic detective.
