Former TV presenter Phillip Schofield was all smiles, despite being seen with a sizable prang to his £60,000 Jaguar car.

The 63-year-old was spotted on the street as his swanky black car was being loaded onto a recovery truck, with a noticeable flat tyre.

The disgraced This Morning host laughed along with the man operating the winch, who was wearing an orange hi-vis jacket.

Standing with his hands in his jeans pockets, Schofield seemed unfazed by the damage.

The rear tyre and the far side door of the car seemed to have borne the brunt of whatever caused the dent.

It comes after daytime host rocked the nation in 2023 when he released a statement confirming that he had a relationship with a young colleague on This Morning.

Schofield said the relationship was ‘unwise but not illegal’, as it occurred when he was married to his wife of 30 years, also before he came out as gay in 2020.

In the explosive statement, Schofield apologised for lying and announced that he is resigning from ITV with ‘immediate effect’, before being dropped by his talent agent.

The news broke just days after Schofield announced he was stepping down from This Morning, amid speculation of a ‘fallout’ between him and his co-host Holly Willoughby.

He later discussed his departure in a tell-all interview with the BBC, before stepping away from the spotlight for several months, he then came back to TV with the show Cast Away.

Earlier this year, Schofield was pictured looking pretty glum as he went about his daily life, taking out the bins.

He looked downcast as he was spotted outside his west London home, having been keeping a low profile in recent months.

It’s unclear whether he plans on making a return to screens, with previous rumours claiming he could make an appearance on the likes of I’m A Celebrity or Celebrity Big Brother.

But Schofield firmly shut those claims down in one of several furious rants in Cast Away, saying: ‘There are some channels you won’t work for, there are some people you just won’t work for.’
