Despite this latest change showing their doubling down on keeping the adaptation laser-focused on covering Eiichiro Oda's epic, keeping animation quality strong, and reducing strain on its production staff. Previously, the answer to allowing canon episodes to shine without the anime overtaking the manga, was filler.
