After 10 days of release in theaters, the thriller film The Long Walk is making steady progress up the box office charts. In its second weekend, the movie recovered its reported budget and climbed past the $20 million mark. It's now on the verge of passing one of the greatest films of all time, The Shawshank Redemption. Both films are based on stories written by Stephen King. The Long Walk, in fact, is based on the first book that the legendary author wrote, although it wasn't the first to be published.
