An erotic thriller can take all sorts of forms, from the openly lewd and deeply confrontational to the quietly meditative or surprisingly silly. It's a tricky genre but a flexible one, able to shape and reform to the filmmaker's own interests and desires. Take Night Nurse, an interesting but flawed film that has visual ambition to spare.
