Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning are getting ready to work together yet again on a new legal television series from A24.
What do we know about Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning’s new TV show?
According to a report from Deadline, the pair will both star in the upcoming series Discretion, written by author Chandler Baker (The Husbands), who is adapting her own short story that’s yet to be published.
The series is set in Dallas, and is based in part on Baker’s own experience as a corporate attorney. She previously worked in Washington, D.C. before moving to Dallas and working with a major sports franchise.
For Kidman and Fanning, this will be their fourth project working together in a short time. The pair starred in Sofia Coppola’s gothic thriller The Beguiled, as well as the sci-fi romantic comedy How To Talk To Girls At Parties. Next, the duo will star in the upcoming series Margo’s Got Money Problems.
Currently, it’s unclear exactly what network the series will air on. For Baker, though, it’ll be yet another piece of her work that’s set to get the Hollywood treatment. She’s currently adapting her book The Husbands for Amazon MGM, and a movie adaptation of her short story Oh. What. Fun. is also set to release on Prime Video soon. She’s also developing an adaptation of her novel Cutting Teeth, and HBO has also optioned her book Whisper Network into a series.
