Some of the most entertaining documentary films are about bizarre subcultures. Perhaps the greatest example of such a film is The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, which was about the cutthroat world of professional Donkey Kong and the scheming individuals who populate it. The film was directed by Seth Gordon, who'd go on to make mainstream comedies such as Horrible Bosses and Baywatch. A movie that could easily be combined with The King of Kong for a particularly bizarre late-night double-bill was recently released on Netflix. Unsurprisingly, it has gained steam in the days since its debut and is now among the most-watched titles on the streamer's viewership charts.
