It’s now been over three months since the Stranger Things series finale, and while fans have had more time to sit with what’s happened, that hasn’t made it any less divisive. Most who have been following Stranger Things for years were expecting there to be a little more bloodshed in the final season. Even though Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) seemingly sacrifices herself at the end of the series by standing in the Upside Down as it collapses, it’s later revealed that she may have survived and is now living on her own. This very plot twist might seem like nothing more than Mike (played by Finn Wolfhard) being delusional, but the fact that it was written into the show at all signifies that the writers had a tough time giving Eleven a finite ending.
