NBC’s 3-Part Thriller Franchise Is So Good, It’s Practically the Last of Its Kind

All is well in the world of the One Chicago franchise right now. All three of the Wolf Productions procedurals received early renewals from NBC as a show of confidence in their staying power over a decade into their run on television. Earlier in March, they also joined forces for their latest crossover event, welcoming back two Chicago P.D. favorites in Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) and Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos). On top of everything, they're officially a part of history, as NBC is celebrating 100 years on the air, a run that's been filled with classics from The Office, to Hill Street Blues, and Saturday Night Live.
