It's always great when television shows can have a long run. However, there are some series that are more successful when their storytelling is done succinctly, with fewer seasons. Some shows, such as Big Little Lies, Killing Eve, and Heroes, would have earned way more fans if they had quit while they were ahead. Now, it seems that Prime Video's Mr. & Mrs. Smith might be falling into the camp of shows that are overstaying their welcome. With lots of drama behind the scenes, it might be a good thing if Mr. & Mrs. Smith exited the scene permanently.
