MPH Collabs with Skrillex on New Tune, “Mirage”

MPH teams up with legendary artist Skrillex to drop an absolute banger as the summer begins to come to a close: “Mirage.”

If you haven’t already begun paying attention to MPH, there’s no better time than now to acquaint yourself. This artist has been putting UK Garage, bassline, and bass house at the forefront of the scene for years, dropping impressive releases that have earned strong support from fans and tastemakers alike. This includes Skrillex, who recently hit the studio with MPH to create an absolute banger of a tune called “Mirage.”

Out now via DisOrder/Capitol Records, “Mirage” is a dancefloor-ready tune that embodies everything there is to love about the summer months with its bright bassline and vibrant samples. MPH notably teased the tune during his set at EDC Las Vegas this past May, but the story behind it goes further back than that.

“Mirage” was born out of an afternoon studio session where MPH and Skrillex were just messing around with some beats. “Skrillex would do some bits and pass the laptop to me. I’d do some bits and, pretty soon, we’d married our sounds together,” said MPH about the production process. Clearly it’s one of those instances where having fun with another creative brings about something magical, and fans can only hope that more of these moments happen for both artists.
