The theatrical release of Michael Jackson’s biopic, Michael, is right around the corner, with fans wondering if the movie features a post-credits scene. Moviegoers often expect an additional scene at the end of the movie. Thus, fans often stick to the very end to catch any bonus footage. So, does Michael include one as well?

The highly anticipated biopic of Michael Jackson, starring Jaafar Jackson as the titular pop legend, premiered in Berlin on April 10, 2026. The movie reportedly does not feature any additional scenes that fans need to look out for. So, moviegoers are free to leave their seats once the credits begin to roll.

However, according to some reports, the movie does feature an announcement. Right before the credits begin, the screen reportedly goes black and shows, “His story will continue.” Since biopics are often self-contained stories with no additional installments, this statement most likely does not imply that there will be a sequel. Furthermore, there has been no official statement addressing whether there will be another installment.

Michael is directed by Antoine Fuqua, who is known for directing multiple critically acclaimed movies. These include Olympus Has Fallen (2013), Southpaw (2015), The Magnificent Seven (2016), and many more.

The movie centers on the life of Michael Jackson from his early career performing with the Jackson 5 up until the beginning of his solo career. Jackson is played by his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, the son of Jermaine Jackson, while a young Michael is portrayed by Juliano Krue Valdi. Colman Domingo plays as Michael’s father, Joseph Jackson, along with Nia Long as his mother, Katherine Jackson.

Other cast members of the movie include Miles Teller, Laura Harrier, Joseph David-Jones, Jessica Sula, Mike Myers, and Kendrick Sampson, among others.

Following its premiere in Berlin, Michael arrives in theaters on April 24 in the United States.
