Marvel’s Wolverine seems to be checking all the right boxes when it comes to what most fans would want from a new solo Wolverine game. It’s highly violent, with Wolverine puncturing and dismembering every enemy he comes across, it’s linear, which means it won’t have to be at the mercy of a bloated open world, and it features various cameos of other mutants and characters who are traditionally X-Men. Plus, its original Insomniac Marvel universe lets it tell a novel story.
