Since first appearing on the page in 1962, Iron Man has assembled quite the rogues' gallery. The megalomaniacal Mandarin will always be his archenemy, thanks to his intellect and the might of the Ten Rings, but Tony Stark has also memorably clashed with the ruthless Obadiah Stane in his Iron Monger power suit, his former lover-turned-gold-mask-wearing Madame Masque, and billionaire armorer Justin Hammer. He even shares a foe with his fellow Avenger Spider-Man, battling Norman Osborn not as the Green Goblin, but the Iron Patriot during the Dark Reign storyline. One of his most enduring foes from all the way back in 1968, however, is easily the vengeful Whiplash.
