Lynley Review: I Wanted Something More Daring & Creative From This Slick New Inspector Lynley Adaptation

Detective Inspector Thomas Lynley and his headstrong sergeant, Barbara Havers, have been reimagined for a new era in the BBC and BritBox's slick procedural detective series, Lynley. Based on the Inspector Lynley books by Elizabeth George, this is the second TV adaptation of the 8th Earl of Asherton's investigative exploits, and it's difficult not to draw comparisons to the early aughts version.
