Companies like Pepsi, Diageo, Rockstar Energy, and PayPal responded by removing their sponsorship of the event, but promoter Melvin Benn issued a statement standing by West and urging "forgiveness and giving people a second chance." It didn't work. The UK government has denied West entry to the country, and this year's Wireless is now canceled.
