JO1’s Mame and Shosei arrive In Mumbai for the first time and greet Indian fans in desi style

Beaming with smiles and waving at photographers, the duo greeted fans as they stepped on Indian soil for the very first time. In true desi style, they were welcomed with marigold garlands. At one point, they stopped to join their hands in the traditional Namaste, a gesture that immediately melted hearts. Fans also clicked selfies with the J-pop idols as they made their way out of the airport. The duo kept it casual yet stylish at the airport. Exploring Mumbai in desi style

Mame and Shosei, part of JO1's 11-member lineup, are set to explore the city during their stay. According to Pinkvilla, their itinerary includes a tour of Mumbai landmarks such as Marine Drive and the Gateway of India. They are also expected to attend events and connect with prominent figures from India's entertainment scene.

About JO1

JO1 is managed by Lapone Entertainment, it was formed in 2019 through the survival show Produce 101 Japan. The band comprises of Issei Mamehara, Shosei Ohira, Ren Kawashiri, Takumi Kawanishi, Shion Tsurubo, Ruki Shiroiwa, Keigo Sato, Syoya Kimata, Junki Kono, Sukai Kinjo and Sho Yonashiro.
