Co-chairman and Co-CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn, recently revealed the artefacts he took home from DC and Marvel sets. Gunn’s Peacemaker is currently in its second season, which has received positive reviews from critics.

After each episode of Peacemaker, the show’s official podcast, Peacemaker: The Official Podcast with James Gunn, goes live on DC’s YouTube channel. The podcast focuses on behind-the-scenes anecdotes and scene breakdowns. During Season 2, Episode 3 podcast, Gunn talked about the items that he has taken from both Marvel and DC sets.

Gunn revealed that he has the Peace-Cycle from Peacemaker Season 2. He said, “I have Peacemaker’s Peace-Cycle right over there, but I didn’t steal it. I’m the boss.”

The 59-year-old director also shared that people always took Fortress of Solitude crystals from Superman’s set. By the end of the shoot, there were none left. He then continued to speak about a crucial Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy artefact that he took home. “I have the original Infinity Stone from Guardians 1,” he shared. “Before it was purple, when it was red, which is how we shot the movie.”

Gunn also mentioned that he took a car from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. “I own Kurt Russell’s car from Guardians 2.” It’s the car that appears briefly at the beginning of the movie when Russell’s character Ego is on Earth.

He admitted that he didn’t steal them. “Somebody gave them to me. Yeah, they gave them to me,” the director said. Gunn concluded by saying, “I have Bill Pardy’s badge from Slither. I have a bunch of cool stuff.”
