James Gunn's 4-Part Superman Series Officially Returns to HBO Max Next Week

It’s been a pretty quiet few months for one of the cutest corners of James Gunn’s new DC Universe, but that wait is almost over. After first spinning out of last year’s Superman, Krypto Saves the Day!is finally heading back to HBO Max with its first new episode since November 2025. That alone is enough to make it a fun little return for DC fans who got attached to the super-powered dog, especially with Supergirl getting closer by the week.
