The Gundam franchise is officially making a return this October, and fans of the decades-old series may want to pay attention so as not to miss it. Since the release of the original anime series, Mobile Suit Gundam, back in 1979, there has been a lot. The IP has seen several other adaptations over time, including some of the best Gundam anime series, which are not necessarily the original material. Of course, Gundam has grown to be a fully fledged IP rather than an anime-exclusive franchise, and now, it’s getting even bigger.
