WWE could be taking WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia in 2027.

Fans in the UK have been clamouring for the Show of Shows to be brought to London, and with the 2026 location already confirmed for Las Vegas, we were hoping the following year could be our time.

Overnight there have been rumblings that the 2027 dates could see WWE take WrestleMania international by holding the two night extravaganza outside North America for the first time ever.

Currently nothing is confirmed, but Saudi Arabia seems to be high on the list given the pro wrestling giant’s longstanding partnership with the kingdom.

Already, WWE is taking the Royal Rumble international for the first time with the 2026 edition hailing from Riyadh, and fans had speculated that WrestleMania wouldn’t be far behind.

Here’s everything we know so far.

Where will WWE WrestleMania 43 take place?

It’s important to note, nothing is official – and as New Orleans recently found out, even an announcement can be changed.

Overnight though, there are reports that a press release in Arabic was accidentally sent out early to members of the press revealing the news, before it was quickly pulled.

However, PWInsider has claimed that the announcement is legitimate, with official confirmation apparently set for Friday in Las Vegas, where TKO’s WWE will hold Worlds Collide on the eve of Saturday’s Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez fight.

It’s also alleged that Saudi Arabian adviser Turki Alalshikh said in a since-deleted Snapchat video: ‘WrestleMania has been announced, for the first time outside of America, WrestleMania in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2027.’

What else do we know about it?

Up Next

At the moment, nothing has been confirmed, so we’ll have to wait for an official announcement regarding the 2027 show.

We do know that Royal Rumble is heading to Saudi Arabia in January, while WWE parent company TKO is hoping that the upcoming Wrestlepalooza premium live event can achieve similar success to the likes of WrestleMania and SummerSlam.

WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia feels inevitable

Metro’s resident WWE reporter Alistair McGeorge thinks the first international WrestleMania is upon us.

When I woke up this morning to see reports that Saudi Arabia is seemingly getting the 2027 WrestleMania, I can’t say I was surprised.

Sure, fans have been clamouring for the Showcase of the Immortals to get a European flavour with the UK as an obvious bet, or France after their electric crowds in recent years.

However, WWE’s longstanding partnership with Saudi Arabia – which isn’t without its controversies, and doesn’t sit well with many fans – means this was inevitable.

The fact that Riyadh is getting the Royal Rumble in January 2026 shows that the company’s open to the move.

For US fans, it’d mean a morning or afternoon start for WrestleMania, and Brits would be able to stream at a sociable hour, which can only help streaming numbers.

A lot of fans have issues with the Saudi arrangement and the idea of WrestleMania there will upset some, but TKO has made it clear that Mania and other events will travel to whichever location will offer the biggest payday.

Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia & Technology Conference, TKO President Mark Shapiro said: ‘Hopefully Wrestlepalooza is a winner and we can bring that back annually, because that could just be a marketing bonanza for us if we do that right.

‘Triple H is spending night and day creatively around making that what we think it can be, which is another WrestleMania or another SummerSlam.’

If it was a success, that would certainly open the door to more international locations getting the big shows, with several available to cover more markets.

How do you get tickets to WrestleMania?

Tickets for WrestleMania 43 are a long, long way off with the location still yet to be confirmed.

However, we do know that two-day combo tickets for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas will be available on September 24 at 4pm UK time.

Fans can still register for pre-sale opportunities here.
