HoYoVerse Petit Planet Life Sim Closed Coziness Test Announced

After opening a social media and YouTube account for its Animal Crossing style life sim Petit Planet ahead of TGS 2025, HoYoVerse actually revealed it and a Coziness Test closed beta at the event. Registration is now open on the official site for that. There’s also a trailer offering a closer look at gameplay on custom planets.

Petit Planet can be played alone, though apparently multiplayer will be possible if you visit the Galactic Bazaar. Each person starts with their own planet that they develop. You set up homes, bring animal-like neighbors you can befriend to your place as Neighbors, and help the lands flourish by earning Luca through interactions. The first trailer also showed some activities like cooking, socializing, and crafting. There will also apparently be farming and fishing. Going to other places means hopping into a car that can travel from planet to planet throughout the galaxy.

Here’s the full Petit Planet TGS 2025 gameplay trailer showing off the HoYoVerse life sim.

HoYoVerse noted the first Petit Planet Coziness Test closed beta will only be available on Windows PCs and iOS devices. We don’t know when the registration survey will go offline, or when this test will run. If you get in, you can share impressions and footage. However, your progress will not be saved and carried over to the final release.

And there are also a handful of screenshots showing different elements. You can see them below:
