HBO has released the trailer for House of the Dragon Season 3, Episode 3. The preview teases Rhaenyra Targaryen’s first major decisions as queen. Notably, the episode will premiere on July 5, 2026, on HBO and HBO Max.

The trailer opens with tense music as Rhaenyra declares that all eyes now look to her. Furthermore, she states that she must justify her father’s faith in her decisions. She also expresses a desire to rule as Viserys would have wished.

Meanwhile, a council member warns Rhaenyra that her resources remain small and her hazards many. This suggests the new queen faces immediate political and military challenges on the throne. Additionally, the dialogue hints at growing tension within Rhaenyra’s own advisory circle.

Elsewhere, Daemon Targaryen raises a critical concern about Daeron Targaryen in the trailer. He identifies Daeron as a claimant to the throne and tells Rhaenyra directly. “You’re going to have to kill him,” Daemon warns her about the remaining threat.
