Hit Netflix Comedy Expands Season 3 Cast With Sarah Silverman & 8 More

Netflix’s most-watched romantic comedy is about to get a lot more complicated. The show’s creators and network have confirmed nine new faces joining an already beloved ensemble for its upcoming third season.

Sarah Silverman, Andrew Rannells and more join the cast of Nobody Wants This Season 3

Netflix’s Nobody Wants This has added nine new cast members for its upcoming third season, Variety reports. Andrew Rannells, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, and Sarah Silverman join in recurring roles. Six guest stars also join the expanding ensemble.

Andrew Rannells plays Sebastien, Joanne’s nemesis in conversion class. Keyla Monterroso Mejia plays Amber, a single woman in Joanne’s Intro to Judaism class obsessed with finding a Jewish husband. Sarah Silverman plays Rabbi Eden, the warm and quirky teacher of the class and a supportive presence for Joanne and Noah.

Guest stars include Avan Jogia as Travis, a confident guy who enjoys getting under Joanne’s skin. Poorna Jagannathan plays Eleanor, Sebastien’s brassy and biting aunt. Sadie Sandler plays Denise, a young psychic who gives Morgan a reading. Stephanie Koenig plays Poppy, a sardonic dating app regular who tries her luck with Sasha. Steven Weber plays Julian, a funny and grounded divorced dad.

Series creator Erin Foster also appears as a guest star, playing Nicole. Foster describes Nicole as “terminally single and a chaotic mess… She’s Joanne if everything had gone wrong in her life.” Foster also serves as executive producer on the series.

The new cast joins returning stars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, and Jackie Tohn. Bell plays agnostic podcaster Joanne, while Brody plays rabbi Noah. Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan serve as executive producers and showrunners, with 20th Television producing.

Season 2 saw Joanne decide to convert to Judaism. Nobody Wants This Season 3 premieres later this year on Netflix.
