The genre of Westerns has been one of the most popular ones in television history. Typically, these classic shows in the 1950s and 1960s were fairly straightforward with a specific formula: the hero cowboy battles the villain, but always comes out victorious (with a pretty girl on his arm). However, in the early 2000s, a Western premiered that completely changed the genre, and it's so good that you can watch it multiple times without ever getting tired of it.
