HBO Max's Goriest WWII Film Is So Big, It's Toppling Every Rival on the Platform

It's a tremendous time to be a fan of WWII storytelling, with the recent sleeper hit Pressure having been released on the PVOD market and the History Channel's documentary series World War II with Tom Hanks halfway through its 20-episode run. Now, another recent WWII title is making its presence felt on streaming, after a lukewarm theatrical run in 2025. The movie opened to excellent reviews last year, but simply could not break out at the box office. It's now redeeming itself on streaming, having found a spot on the global HBO Max viewership chart this week.
