Harry Styles might be selling out his own stadium, but he still took the time to watch England take on DR Congo in the Men’s World Cup.
The Taste Back singer was spotted in Wembley Stadium ahead of his Together Together tour show, nervously looking on from the stands as the match unfolded.
Then Harry Kane scored that all-important winning goal.
The Three Lions captain rescued his side from the brink of disaster after a painful first half looked like it spelt the end for the team.
Styles was inches away from the fans who had spent hundreds to see him as the game was being shown on the stage screens ahead of the show.
He looked overjoyed as he ran into the arms of his friends, hugging and cheering as England moved into the next round of the tournament.
Unlike his on-stage shirt and tie outfits, Styles had opted for a far more casual white long-sleeved shirt and his signature tiny black shorts.
His leg tattoos were on full display as he leapt into his friend’s arms with the duo beside themselves with joy at the win.
The star likely let out a few ‘come on’s as he punched the air in celebration of the win, which admittedly had felt a little unlikely for the first hour (or more).
Regaining his composure, Styles then casually walked back through the doors, beaming and waving at fans as he went.
While on stage later in the show, he sang a dedication to Kane’s legendary late turnaround.
‘Harry Kane, he gets the ball right into the box! Harry Kane, he shoots, he scores! GOALLLLLLLLLLLL!’ he said during his Italian Girls interlude.
While Styles is set to return to Wembley on Friday evening, Kane will be on the pitch again on Sunday night, well, 1am Monday in the UK.
