PS Plus game

PS Plus Extra users diving into one of the best shadow drops of the year are experiencing issues saving their game. For some reason, The Rogue Prince of Persia seems to be having trouble syncing PS5 save data to the cloud, which might cause some players to lose their file.

How to avoid PS Plus game The Rogue Prince of Persia save data issue

When players boot up The Rogue Prince of Persia, the game asks if they’d like to utilize the cloud feature. Simply opt out of it. You can also go into PS5’s system settings and manually turn off cloud saves by navigating to Save Data, and turning off auto-sync.

The Rogue Prince of Persia’s cloud sync issues are also impacting PC players, it seems, so the issue isn’t limited to consoles. However, we still advise turning off PS5’s auto-sync feature in order to avoid replacing your save files with corrupted data.

Some players are also reporting game-breaking bugs, but we advise contacting developer Evil Empire for a list of known issues and relevant patch information.

Alternatively, wait for a patch or two before you start The Rogue Prince of Persia.
