GOTY-Winning PS5, PS4 Remake Is Under $10 on PS Store

The PlayStation Store continues to give decent discounts to some of the best PS4 and PS5 games available on the digital storefront. That includes this remake that received a plethora of game of the year nods when it released in 2019.

Resident Evil 2 is $9.99 on the PS Store

Developed by Capcom, the Resident Evil 2 remake is on sale on the PS Store for $9.99. That is a 70% discount off its typical $39.99 price tag. Players who want to take advantage of this deal will need to act fast. The offer ends on September 11 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

“A deadly virus engulfs the residents of Raccoon City in September of 1998, plunging the city into chaos as flesh eating zombies roam the streets for survivors,” reads the game’s PS Store description. “An unparalleled adrenaline rush, gripping storyline, and unimaginable horrors await you. Witness the return of Resident Evil 2.”

When the Resident Evil 2 remake was released back in 2019, it was universally acclaimed. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 91 across 85 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it a 10 out of 10.
