After smashing the big screen with three feature films in 2025, Marvel is scaling things back with two new releases in 2026. The combined potential of these two films, though, could help Marvel reach $3 billion — possibly even more — at the box office just this year. The first Marvel movie of 2026 will come on July 31 with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle. Marvel will finish the year strong with the December 18 release of Avengers: Doomsday, which will bring back a host of long-time MCU stars, and even some Fox X-Men veterans for key roles.
