'Gen V' Star Confirms Jordan Was Originally Supposed To Be Two Characters [Exclusive]

There’s no shortage of interesting and polarizing characters with shocking powers in the universe of Eric Kripke’s The Boys. From the blood-manipulating powers of Jaz Sinclair’s Marie Moreau to the Aquaman-like tendencies and gills of Chace Crawford’s The Deep, some lucked out and some got the bottom of the barrel. In the former’s series, Gen V, in addition to the fan-favorite blood bender, audiences were introduced to a character named Jordan Li, who, in addition to enhanced strength and energy projection, has the ability to switch from male to female. Played by Derek Luh and London Thor, the pair effortlessly nails their performance as the same character from one scene to the next and act as a representation (albeit a fantastical one) of the non-binary and non-gender-conforming viewers at home.
