Free PS5 Demo Confirmed for Highly-Anticipated Bandai Namco RPG

The highly anticipated Bandai Namco RPG, Digimon Story: Time Stranger, will get a free PS5 demo on the PS Store very soon.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger free PS5 demo is coming soon

Announced on the official Digimon Games X account, the upcoming RPG Digimon Story: Time Stranger is getting a PS5 demo in the next couple of days. Specifically, it will be available to download on the PS Store on Thursday, September 11, at 12 a.m. ET. Check out the recently revealed trailer below to get a glimpse of its story.

“Digimon Story Time Stranger is an RPG with monster-taming elements that explores the deep bond between humans and Digimon in an epic story that unravels the mystery of the world’s collapse,” reads the game’s description on the PS Store. “Embark on an adventure that spans across the human world and Digital World, collecting and raising a diverse array of Digimon to fight in turn-based battles.”

For people who end up liking what they play in the Digimon Story: Time Stranger demo, it can be preordered on the PS Store right now. The Standard Edition includes the base game for $69.99. The Deluxe Edition costs $99.99 and includes the base game, Season Pass, and the Costume Cyber Sleuth Set. The Ultimate Edition, which costs $119.99, includes everything from the Deluxe Edition, as well as a Costume Pack, Costume & Special Supplies Set, Cyber Sleuth BGM Pack, and an early unlock of Special Agumon and Gabumon.

No matter which version of the game is preordered, players will receive a preorder bonus pack for purchasing the game early. Here is everything included in the bonus pack:
