Fast Forever: Vin Diesel Teases Fan-Favorite Fast & Furious Character’s Potential Return

Vin Diesel has just sparked interest in the return of a fan-favorite character. During an appearance at FuelFest last year, Diesel stated that the character of Brian, played by the late Paul Walker, will come back to the franchise in some form.

Now, while the exact details of Brian’s return have not yet been revealed, Vin Diesel just teased the potential return of another beloved character for Fast Forever.

Vin Diesel is popular for his Creative Sunday posts. This segment usually features a picture from something he is currently working on or from one of his previous projects. In his latest Instagram post, the actor posted a picture of himself alongside his Fast X co-star, Jason Momoa. Despite no confirmation about Momoa’s presence in the movie, fans took the post as a hint.

The Aquaman actor came in as the main villain in Fast X. While the movie ended in a cliffhanger, fans expected Dante’s character to return in the next edition. However, Momoa had significant trouble aligning his dates for the shoot. His shooting schedules for Dune 3 and DC’s Supergirl made it difficult for Momoa to squeeze out dates for the Fast franchise.

Moreover, as Fast X did not get the overwhelming reception expected, speculations about the franchise cutting off Dante’s character also surfaced. The latest tease from Vin Diesel will surely make the fans optimistic.

After the release of Fast X back in 2023, the Fast and Furious franchise went through a whirlwind phase. With the future looking grim for the franchise, it was Diesel who took the initiative to keep the hopes alive. Finally, back in early July this year, Vin Diesel confirmed the return of Fast and Furious 11 to the big screen after three and a half years.

Fast Forever is scheduled for a March 17, 2028, release.
