Fans of the Shrekfranchise have missed their big green ogre. Now, we have our first look at Shrek 5 and maybe its been worth the wait. With a little over a year to go until we get to go back to Far, Far Away, the first trailer reunites Shrek (Michael Myers) with his trusty best friend, Donkey (Eddie Murphy). This time, Shrek's kids get roped into whatever has the Shrek family and Donkey all sharing a cell together. Shrek 5 is set to hit theaters on June 30, 2027 with our old friends (and some new voices) joining the iconic franchise. Don't worry, the Gingerbread Man IS there.
