Disha Patani Poses in New York, Days After Firing at UP Home

Actress Disha Patani was spotted for the first time after the incident of firing took place outside her house in Uttar Pradesh, Bareilly . The incident was related to her elder sister, Khushboo Patani's remark on Aniruddhacharya Maharaj, which was wrongly connected to spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj. Disha's latest appearance was spotted in New York. Disha Patani, who is the brand ambassador of Calvin Klein, flaunted her curves in a beautiful backless black dress with a plunging neckline and looked absolutely gorgeous. She left her hair open and kept the makeup minimal to complement the look ; these pictures came just days after the firing incident.

What was the firing incident outside Disha's house ?

According to the authorities , several rounds of bullets were shot; two reports of aerial firing were reported at around 4:30 AM outside Disha Patani 's house in Bareilly. No one was injured in the incident. The Dhelana brothers, Virendra and Mahendra, have claimed responsibility for the attack. In a purported social media post, the two men issued a warning to the film industry.

"I, Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran (Delana), brothers, today the firing that happened at Khushboo Patani/Disha Patani's (Bollywood actress) house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, UP) was carried out by us . She insulted our revered saints (Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj). She tried to demean our Sanatan Dharma. The insult of our deities will not be tolerated. This was just a trailer. Next time, if she or anyone else shows disrespect toward our religion, then no one in their house will be left alive," the message read.

What led to the shooting in the first place?

Former army officer Khushboo Patani recently criticized religious orator Aniruddhacharya Maharaj over his remarks on live-in relationships. However, many social media users mistakenly believed she was referring to Premanand Ji Maharaj, who had commented on youngsters having multiple relationships. What followed was an intense wave of trolling triggered by the confusion. Khushboo issued an official clarification, making it clear her remarks were directed only at Aniruddhacharya Maharaj. She also warned that she would pursue legal action if the online harassment continued.

Disha's family reaction on firing?

In a conversation with ANI, Jagdish Patani defended his daughter Khushboo Patani and stated that her remark was misrepresented and taken out of context. "...Khushboo (sister of actor Disha Patani) was misrepresented. Her name was dragged into the matter of Premanand Ji Maharaj. We are Sanatanis, and we respect the sadhus and saints. If someone is misrepresenting her statement, it is a conspiracy to demean us...," he said. As of now, Disha is yet to react to the incident or make any statement regarding it.
