David Kitt has been one of Ireland’s best-known singer-songwriters for the last quarter-century. His acclaimed second album, The Big Romance, which was released in 2001, sold 60,000 copies in Ireland alone. He’s toured regularly with David Gray, as a supporting musician, and has featured at major festivals for the last 25 years. The 50-year-old has re-recorded The Big Romance, with new versions of the original album’s 10 tracks and three new tracks. It will be released on Wednesday to mark the 25th anniversary of the landmark album. The anniversary will also be celebrated with two live shows at Dublin’s National Concert Hall on April 10 and 11.
