Daughter of slain 'Grandpa Vicha' launches political bid after killer walks free: 'I've never felt safe'

Spurred by outrage in seeing her father's killer set free last month, Monthanus Ratanapakdee - the daughter of the 84-year-old Thai man known to many in San Francisco simply as "Grandpa Vicha" - is launching a write-in campaign for a supervisor seat.
