Criminal Record Season 2 Trailer Sets Release Date for Apple TV Show’s Explosive Return

Apple TV has shared the official trailer and release date for Criminal Record Season 2, the long-awaited next installment of the gripping crime thriller series. The video features the return of Academy Award winner Peter Capaldi and The Good Fight star Cush Jumbo, teasing their characters’ explosive next assignment.

“It is a powerful, character-driven drama set in the heart of contemporary London, exploring the impossibility of policing when the truth is up for grabs,” reads the official synopsis. “In Season 2, when a young man is stabbed to death at a political rally, rival police officers June Lenker and Daniel Hegarty are forced into an uneasy alliance. But what starts as a hunt for a murderer escalates into an undercover operation to foil a far-right bomb plot in the heart of London.”

When is the release date for Criminal Record Season 2?

Criminal Record Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 22, on Apple TV, followed by one episode weekly through June 10. Season 2 stars Dustin Demri-Burns, Luca Pasqualino, Luther Ford, Lyndsey Marshal, Peter Sullivan, Shaun Dooley, Stephen Campbell Moore, and Charlie Creed-Miles.

The show is created and executive-produced by BAFTA Award nominee Paul Rutman. Executive producers are Capaldi, Jumbo, Elaine Collins, and Chris Sussman, with Ben A. Williams and Joelle Mae David set as directors. It is a production by Tod Productions and STV Studios.
