Canadian producer CRi returns to Anjunadeep with AMi Vol. 1, a collaborative EP that explores the profound beauty of shared human connection. By transitioning from a solo act to an ensemble leader, he bridges the gap between peak-time club energy and atmospheric home listening. This collection pairs his signature four-on-the-floor rhythms with a community-first philosophy, resulting in a cinematic fusion of house and indie-pop that marks a bold evolution in his sound.

By stepping outside his comfort zone, CRi has delivered seven polished tracks radiating warm, intimate energy. “Outline” sets the tone, opening the EP with Miette Hope’s airy vocals layered over a pulsating bassline.

Highlights like “A Smile With Scars” with Romain Garcia, “This is Our Life” featuring Nicky Elisabeth, and “Unsaid” with DJ Cinéma Quartier Latin use hypnotic melodies, evocative vocals, and lush atmospheres to captivate listeners. This steady energy, paired with crisp production and live instrumentation, achieves a grand, immersive scale through masterful reverb and spatial techniques.

The guest artists on AMi Vol. 1 are more than just features; they’re intentional partners chosen to push CRi toward a higher creative plane. This collaborative journey became a masterclass in vulnerability, teaching him to release total control and open himself to a world of experimental freedom.

In support of this release, CRi and 17 of his friends have embarked on the 13-city AMi Tour across North America and Europe. The tour kicks off in Montreal on April 24 and ends in Brooklyn on July 11.
