Clothing brand pulls 6,000 sweaters from shelves due to risk of death from fire

Madewell has initiated a recall for approximately 6,000 women's sweaters due to a failure to meet federal flammability safety standards, causing risk of "serious burn injuries or death," according to a recent U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) notice.
