Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry have reacted to the renewed success of Crime 101. The crime thriller film has found a strong audience on Prime Video after a disappointing theatrical run. The actors shared their responses as the film climbed to the top of the streaming platform’s charts.

Chris Hemsworth has reacted to the strong streaming performance of Crime 101, which has found a new audience on Prime Video after underperforming at the box office. The actor acknowledged the film’s success online, where it has quickly climbed the charts across multiple regions.
According to Flix Patrol, Crime 101 ranked at number one in the United States between April 2, 2026, and April 6, 2026. It has also topped charts in several international markets including Australia, Canada, Finland, Greece, New Zealand, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The performance marks a notable shift for the film following its theatrical run.
Responding to the film’s streaming success, Hemsworth shared on X (formerly Twitter), “Crime 101 is number 1 on @PrimeVideo !! Appreciate all the love and support for this film.”
Halle Berry also acknowledged the response. She wrote, “Love you all for always supporting! Number 1 on @PrimeVideo #Crime101.”
Set in Los Angeles, Crime 101 follows a skilled jewel thief, played by Hemsworth, planning one final, high-value heist after a string of robberies along the 101 freeway. His plan shifts when he becomes entangled with an insurance broker, played by Halle Berry, who is dealing with her own struggles, forcing an uneasy alliance.
As they move forward, a determined detective, portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, begins closing in on the operation. Other cast members include Barry Keoghan and Monica Barbaro.
Despite its recent streaming momentum, the film faced challenges during its theatrical release. According to Box Office Mojo, it earned approximately $73 million worldwide against a reported $90 million budget.
