Aussie television host Carrie Bickmore has shared an update on her condition, following an accidental head-knock that forced her to undergo surgery.
Taking to Instagram, the 45-year-old comedian posted a grim look into the aftermath of the mishap, featuring a photo of her heavily-bandaged head.
She went on to reveal the true extent of the gruesome injury, which shockingly included a "cut to the bone, and a cut artery".
"The surgeon had to repair nerve and muscle damage! Hurts so much but on the mend now," the star stated on her Instagram story.
This latest update follows news that Bickmore had "walked into the corner of a wall" over the Easter break, hitting a nerve and seriously injuring herself as a result.
The TV host previously shared grizzly images with her followers on Monday, showing a deep cut on her head.
"Looked like a crime scene," Bickmore said alongside the carousel of photos, including one of her head wrapped in bandages. "Blood spurting from my head."

"Got it glued back together so I could go on holiday with my family the next day. Turns out I have hit a nerve."
She said the cut was "healing terribly" and that she was still hurting, but the pain didn't stop there.
"Also randomly had a lady drop her carry on suitcase on my head. God it hurt," she continued.
"Now gotta have it fixed properly by a plastic surgeon. Scars are hot yeh?"

Bickmore went on to joke that she had a "face for radio" as a result of the accident – but was still going to be appearing on a new TV show later that evening.
The comment section was flooded with comments from her celebrity pals, with Rob Mills writing: "Rest up and heal well. That's a lot."
Model Olivia Molly Rogers added: "Omg Carrie!!! You don't do things in halves do you!" While Anna Heinrich wrote: "Hectic. Poor thing xx."
Bickmore currently co-hosts the Carrie and Tommy drive show on Hit Network; her latest venture in a career spanning over two decades.
This was preceded by a 13-year stint on talk show The Project, which she co-hosted from 2009 to 2022.
