Originally airing from 1997 to 2001, Buffy the Vampire Slayerwas a show that many of us grew up with, and became our introduction to the whole vampire genre. Based on the 1992 movie by creator Joss Whedon, the show follows Buffy Summers, the latest vampire slayer in a long line of strong women. Chosen by fate to battle vampires, as well as other dark forces, she soon learns to embrace her destiny after originally wanting to live a normal life.
