Britney Spears is in her glow-up era as she is treated to a makeover by celebrity stylist Chris Appleton after leaving rehab.
The pop icon checked into a treatment facility after she was pulled over in March after ‘driving erratically at high speeds’ on a motorway in Los Angeles.
Britney, 44, pleaded guilty to reckless driving involving alcohol and drugs and was sentenced to 12 months’ probation.
While she continued posting her usual dancing content on Instagram, she surprised fans by teasing a new look over on Chris’ page.
‘As a kid growing up in England, Britney Spears was the soundtrack to so many moments,’ wrote the stylist best known for his work with the Kardashians.
He shared a snap of them together, with the Circus singer cheekily sticking her tongue out as she held up curling wands.
Britney was still sporting her signature blonde – no 2007 Blackout era repeats here – with her straightened hair loose and reaching down to her mid-back.
‘Never in a million years did I think I’d one day be standing behind the chair (or in this case her standing behind mine, lol) styling her hair,’ Chris continued.
‘Some moments really do come full circle. She is not only an icon, but one of the most genuinely kind and gentle souls I’ve ever met.’
Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian commented heart emojis in support of the collaboration with Chrishell Stause writing: ‘This is what the world needs 🙌👑🙏🏼.’
Kim, 45, has known Britney for a long time, having originally met in 2012 when Khloe, 41, co-hosted the US X Factor while the singer was a judge.
Speaking about Britney on Khloe’s In Wonder Land podcast earlier this year, the All’s Fair actress said: ‘She is just a doll. She’s like the sweetest, sweetest girl.
‘Her manager, Cade [Hudson], had connected us and she wanted to come over and we hung. And I’ve met her a few times before and she’s just really sweet and wanted some girl time.’
Britney hasn’t shared any personal updates other than a dancing video four days before her hair appointment with Chris, cryptically writing: ‘When I moved out of the country for a while, I changed my name for some reason and the mean girls stopped laughing!!!!! Damn I miss it there.’
In another post, she wrote: ‘If you’re one of those mean girls pointing and laughing and looking at your phone in the audience just look up today… River sends you guys a message!!!!!!!!’
Footage of her arrest in March was recently released, showing her briefly sobbing in the back seat of a police car before being taken to hospital.
After pleading guilty, she was instructed to pay a $571 (£423) fine as part of her sentencing deal and will see a psychologist once a week and a psychiatrist twice a month.
