'Bosch' Meets 'The Office' in NBC's 8-Part Crime Series Surging on Streaming

Sitcoms used to bang through the '90s and the first decade of the 2000s. And now, although there are plenty of sitcoms available on streamers, sooner or later, every sitcom ends. This particular show preserves that sharp, couch-comedy wit from the 2000–2010 era (even though it aired from 2013 to 2021), making it a great follow-up sitcom for anyone who’s already spent nine or ten seasons with How I Met Your Mother or Friends. And in the middle of it all is Andy Samberg’s Jake Peralta.
