Raising Freddy Brazier’s first child will be a team effort, brother Bobby Brazier has revealed.

At the start of September, it was confirmed that Freddy, 20, was expecting a baby with his ex-girlfriend.

The youngest son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier later announced a break from social media to navigate the private matter, with reports saying he is leaning on his famous father for support after their public feud.

And while Freddy himself is remaining tight-lipped on the baby saga, older bro Bobby, 22, has now offered an insight into how things will work.

When quizzed on the model and podcaster becoming a dad at a young age, the former EastEnders actor said: ‘I’m excited to become an uncle.’

He added to the Daily Mail: ‘It’s going to be a team effort, like raising anything is.

‘My dad has been super supportive, and we’re going to raise the baby together.’

Although when asked if he reckons bringing up a baby Brazier will be a ‘healing force’, Bobby wasn’t so confident.

‘I’m not sure about healing, but we’re going to raise it together,’ he shared.

Inadvertently exposing that their bond has been strained as of late, Bobby further revealed that he first heard that his brother was expecting a child via the Mail on Sunday, calling up Jeff to check the story’s validity.

‘At first, I thought it could have been a prank when I heard about it,’ admitted the 2023 Strictly finalist.

Earlier in the year, Freddy made the shocking claim that he and his brother, both of whom were only four and five, respectively, when their mum, Jade Goody died, were ‘barely speaking’.

This was a stark contrast to the super close image they’ve always portrayed publicly, with Freddy and Jeff seen in the audience several times, usually in tears of pride, when Bobby was on Strictly.

Freddy further insisted that he had no desire to see his dad, let alone patch up their rift, accusing him of being ‘image-obsessed’ for taking legal action to prevent him from seeing his maternal grandmother.

Jackiey Budden, Goody’s mother, also hit out in response with expletive-laden rants against Jeff and denied that she got her grandson, who confessed to smoking from the age of 12, ‘hooked’ on drugs.

However, the baby bombshell has certainly thrown a spanner in the works, with Freddy and Jeff appearing very friendly once more in some recent Instagram selfies.

In fact, the This Morning parenting expert even appeared to crack a joke about the unusual route his youngest has taken.

Alongside a cuddly, smiley selfie, Jeff wrote just days ago: ‘If someone could send me that parenting guidebook, particularly “early adult years the unconventional path” that would be really helpful, thanks [kiss emoji and laughing emoji].’

As per sources, Jeff is keen to meet Freddy’s former girlfriend, with whom the youngster had a brief fling earlier this year, so they can make co-parenting as seamless as possible, despite rumours their romance ended on sour terms due to a string of rows.

And while Freddy was ‘blindsided’ by the pregnancy, as well as ‘devastated’ that his mum, who died from cervical cancer in 2009, can’t be here to meet her first grandchild, he is reportedly keen to soak up as much advice as possible.

‘Jeff was one of the first people he decided to confide in to ask for advice, and he stepped up straight away and wanted to help in any way he could,’ an insider claimed to the Mail.

‘It came as a shock to Freddy that he is going to be a dad, and he needed some help navigating it. Jeff has been amazing and is helping him so much.’
