Blue Bloods may have come to an end back in 2024 after 14 seasons, but the absence of the Reagan family has hardly been felt since then. Viewers on Paramount+ continue to flock to the long-running procedural to revisit the work and lives of the multi-generational New York law enforcement clan, keeping the show alive on streaming even though Tom Selleck and the rest of the cast have since moved on to other roles. CBS, for their part, hasn't held its final family dinner yet, either, introducing the spin-off Boston Blue last year to rousing success. To no one's surprise, it was swiftly renewed after it led all the network's Friday night programming in viewership, locking in more cases led by Donnie Wahlberg for the 2026/27 season.
