Blizzard Entertainment has one of the wildest rides of any development studio, period. What started off as a small outfit in the early '90s in Irvine, California, Blizzard started out with humble beginnings. They mostly handled ports and other smaller titles like Rock n' Roll Racing and The Lost Vikings, before eventually crafting Warcraft: Orcs & Humans in 1994. The rest was history, and now they command a massive [typically] annual event in BlizzCon, filling the Anaheim Convention Center with thousands of fans.
