Speaking on the outlook for digital assets, Soloway predicted that Bitcoin may suffer a pullback of 30% to 50% in the near term. His forecast points to a potential drop toward $75,000 in early 2026, marking what he sees as a significant correction after Bitcoin’s recent bullish cycle.

Institutional Presence Could Cushion the Fall

Soloway was quick to highlight that this downturn would likely differ from Bitcoin’s historic crashes. In 2021, the crypto market plunged alongside stock markets, dragging Bitcoin below $20,000. This time, however, the analyst believes institutional players such as BlackRock provide a stronger safety net. Their presence in the market, he argued, could help limit the scale of losses and stabilize sentiment during a pullback.

The trader also dismissed the likelihood of another major rally in 2025, suggesting that Bitcoin may enter a consolidation phase as investors adjust to changing macroeconomic conditions.

Long-Term Confidence in Bitcoin and Gold

Despite his near-term caution, Soloway maintained a bullish long-term view. He said both Bitcoin and gold continue to serve as critical alternatives to fiat currencies, offering investors protection against inflation and currency debasement. With global demand for non-sovereign stores of value rising, he believes these assets will remain at the forefront of the financial landscape.

“Society is searching for alternatives to fiat currencies,” Soloway explained. “As long as people have access to and accept it, Bitcoin will have a place in the future.”
