Big Name Book Clubs for YA Lovers (& What They’ve Been Reading)

If you’ve ever wanted to take part in a celebrity or “big name” book club, we’re living in the era where doing so is not only possible but also popular. While YA book clubs have thrived offline in bookstores, libraries, and among friends and while there have been many an excellent book club hosted by bookstagrammers, booktubers, booktokers, and other book lovers on social media, they’ve been surprisingly few and far between on the celebrity stage.

That’s not to say they’ve never existed. They have. But right now, there are four excellent options for readers itching to read what’s being endorsed by big names and connect with other readers across the country about all things great YA books.

Reese’s YA Book Club

Reese’s YA Book Club launched in August 2020 with a monthly YA selection. By late 2021, Reese’s YA Book Club had moved to quarterly picks for YA before disappearing in 2022. But it wasn’t gone forever. The YA Book Club was revived in the summer of 2024 and has been selecting titles on a seasonal basis since.
